Water Polo Table Officials Course
The course is open to Swim England members who are 16 and over. The course is ideal for players, coaches and parents to learn and understand the rules and give back to the sport by officiating at local league games, regional and national tournaments and university BUCs matches.

Regional Academy
Swim England East Region runs a Regional Academy, which is the start of the water polo talent pathway. Players who meet set criteria at the Regional Academy may be selected to attend the National Academy. At the National Academy, players have the opportunity to be selected for England teams.
Regional Academy 2025
The Regional Academy Training sessions for 2025 dates are:
- 15th February,
- 8th March,
- 19th April – This session will now be a game play session
- 17th May,
- 21st June,
- 26th July,
- 13th September,
- 18th October,
- 15th November
These sessions are for players born 2008 – 2013.
Registration for players for each session will close the Thursday before that session at 11pm. You will be unable to register after the closing date.
Registration for Coaches and Team Managers for each session will close the Wednesday before that session at 11pm.
If you have register for a session but are unable to attend please let the office staff know. Please note that if you do not attend the session the place is non refundable and non transferrable.
If you are attending the training sessions at the Riverside, Chelmsford, registration on the day will be at 3:45pm for a 4pm-6pm session.
If you are attending the training session at Haberdashers School, registration on the day will be at 5:15pm for a 5.30pm-7.30pm session.

As this is being held on Easter Saturday registration will close a day earlier due to Good Friday.
Registration for players will close on Wednesday 16th April at 11pm.
