Divers
Clubs will work on progressing divers through to different levels of competition through a combination of pool-based and land-based training sessions. Once divers reach a certain level, they may also be selected for Regional Diving Camps or National Camps.

The Region hosts multiple training and development opportunities .
Diving Talent Games Dryland Workshop.

The workshop is aimed at coaches who want to run through and learn more about the 2024 Talen Games Dryland Skills. It provides an opportunity for divers who are attending the Swim England Talent Games event this year or in future year to practice the skills.
Divers should be selected by their coaches to attend the workshop.
Coaches
The Region run an annual Coach Development Seminar where guest speakers are invited to attend and discuss topics with regional coaches.
Previous guest speakers have included Ady Hinchcliffe, former GB coach to Olympic gold medallists Jack Laugher and Chris Mears, and Alexei Evangulov, National Performance Director for British Diving
Want to get involved? Work through the Diving Poolside Helper resource launched July 2020. This will help you deliver sessions under the supervision of a qualified teacher or coach.

March 2021 saw the launch of a national diving judge course
An annual Judge Level 1 course is run by the region and training for recorders is offered to meet demand. Details of the next training opportunity for both judges and recorders can be found below:
