Masters

Masters swimmers come from both those who continue swimming past 18 years of age into Seniors (up to 25) and then Masters (25 and above) and also those who take up swimming later in life.  Many Masters swimmers enjoy the social side of swimming as well as it being a great way to maintain and improve fitness.  There are also opportunities to compete for those who still get a kick out of a racing environment.

How to get started

Many swimming clubs cater for Masters swimmers but often have different resources available, e.g. coaching staff, and so different clubs may be able to provide different levels of assistance to Masters swimmers.

If you would like to get started with training contact your local swimming club who will be able to tell you about their provision for Masters swimming. This list of clubs are purely masters swimming clubs.
