Open Water Regional Distance Development Day

The East Region hosts an annual Open Water Development Day for swimmers aged 12 – 14 years.

We now have spaces available for athletes to attend the East Region Open Water Development Day. The athlete does not need to have experience of Open Water swimming for them to attend but experience of swimming long distance would be preferred.

On the day the athletes will be swimming a minimum distance of 2km.

Water Polo Regional Training 2025

The East Region holds 10 Water Polo Regional training sessions per year. The dates have been set for this year and players born 2008 – 2013 are welcome to attend these sessions. Below are the dates for 2025 and when registration will open.

The Regional Academy Training sessions for 2025 dates are:

  • 19th April – Registration now open, this will now be a game play session
  • 17th May – Registration opens on Monday 21st April
  • 21st June- Registration opens on Monday 19th May
  • 26th July – Registration opens on Monday 23rd June
  • 13th September – Registration opens on Monday 28th July
  • 18th October – Registration currently opens on Monday 28th July
  • 15th November – Registration opens on Monday 20th October
