Swim England East Region congratulates Skye Carter (Basildon & Phoenix SC) who on Thursday evening won bronze in the 50m Freestyle at the European Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Subject to ratification, her time of 25.24 is a new British Age Group Record (16 yrs).
We also send our congratulations to the chain of swimming teachers and coaches who have assisted Skye with her aquatic development.
