The selections for Swim England’s national event camps were announced this week and the East Region was well represented. Congratulations to Olivier Vedrenne (City of Norwich) and Michael Klimaszewski (Hatfield) as well as three swimmers who were formerly based in the East Region but now attend schools in other areas of the country – Caitlin Loo (Hatfield), Erin Little (Chelmsford) and Sophie Freeman (Colchester). Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, all pathway camps (county, regional and national) in 2020 will be running in a digital format. Full details on the regional programme for 2008-born swimmers will sent to clubs in September.
